Spring Witch

Supplies Needed
Forum Template # 72 by me here

Plugins
DSB Flux Bright Noise
Eyecandy Nature Corona

The tube I used Spring Witch (36-3) is by  Caron Vinson, you can purchase this tube from CDO here

The name of the font I used is Honey Script Light


Open your template, shift D to duplicate & close original
Delete info layer

Activate your bg layer
Floodfill with a color from your tube
Apply bright noise intensity 50, mix checked

Activate your polka dots layer
Add a new raster layer
Floodfill with your bg color
On your polka dot layer select all>float>defloat
On your floodfill invert your selection
Delete & deselect
Add an inner bevel & drop shadow

Duplicate 2 times
Apply eyecandy cororna
Settings>small white corona
Change glow radius to 20
Repeat on other 2 layers clicking on the random seed button each time

Activate your center bg layer
Select all>float>defloat
Expand 15
Add a new raster layer
Floodfill with a different light color from your tube
Deselect
Move to below your center bg layer
Add an inner bevel & drop shadow
Repeat bright noise

Back on your center bg layer
Select all>float>defloat
Add a new raster layer
Floodfill with your bg color
Deselect
Change layer properties to overlay
Merge down

Activate your center frame
Select all>float>defloat
Floodfill with a darker shade of your last color
Add an inner bevel & drop shadow
Move to above your center bg layer
Repeat bright noise

Paste your tube as a new layer
Resize as needed
Add drop shadow

Merge your 2 shape layers
Select all>float>defloat
Add a new raster layer
Floodfill with a 3rd color from your tube
Deselect
Change layer properties to overlay
Merge down

Duplicate your tube
Resize to 75%, mirror & move to above your right shape layer
On your shape layer select all>float>defloat
On your tube layer invert your selection
Delete & deselect
Duplicate & mirror

Merge your 2 side frames
Select all>float>defloat
Floodfill with your last color
Add an inner bevel & drop shadow
Repeat bright noise

Activate your butterflies layer
Select all>float>defloat
Add a new raster layer
Floodfill with your center frame color
Change layer properties to color
Merge down & add drop shadow

Repeat with your flowers & bows
Use your other colors & layer properties
Add drop shadow

Resize all layers to 70%

Add your text, name & © info


Animation:

Hide animation 2 & 3
Merge visible
Copy & paste into animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide animation 1 & unhide #2
Merge & paste after current in animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide animation 2 & unhide #3
Merge visible & paste after current in animation shop

View your animation

Save as gif & you're all done!

Flowers for Mom

Supplies Needed
My newest scrapkit All A Bloom here

The tube I used Baby Witch is a bonus tube for May 2012 and is by Caron Vinson, you can get this tube from CDO here

The name of the font I used is Elegant
I used size 60


Open new transparent canvas 700x700, we will resize later
Select all
Paste paper 21 into selection
Deselect

Paste ribbon 1 as a new layer
Resize to 80%
Position at the top of your tag
Add drop shadow
Duplicate & flip

Duplicate & rotate left 90
Duplicate, mirror & merge down
Move to below your first ribbon
Merge all ribbon layers

Duplicate 2 times
Add gaussian noise, monochrome unchecked, 40%
Repeat on other 2 layers changing noise to 45 & 50%

Paste frame 7 as a new layer
Resize to 75%
Position near the top of your tag
Click inside with your magic wand
Expand 3
Add a new raster layer

Paste paper 1 into selection
Move to below your frame layer
Do Not Deselect

Paste your close up tube as a new layer
Resize as needed
Invert your selection
Delete & deselect
Add drop shadow
Move to below your frame

Add drop shadow to your frame

Paste fence 1 as a new layer
Resize to 75%
Position at the bottom of your tag
Add drop shadow

Paste your main tube as a new layer
Duplicate & hide the original
Resize as needed
Position on the left side of the fence at the bottom of your tag
(I had to mirror my tube)

Activate your fence layer
Select all>float>defloat
Add a new raster layer

Unhide your tube
Copy & delete
Paste into selection
Deselect
Change layer properties to soft light
Add drop shadow

Paste mom 1 as a new layer
Resize to 60%
Position near the top of your fence
Add drop shadow

Paste fairy flower 1 as a new layer
Resize to 25%
Position at the bottom of your mom element
Add drop shadow
Move to below your mom layer

Paste bird house 1 as a new layer
Resize to 50%
Position a the lower right corner
Add drop shadow

Paste bees in love 1 as a new layer
Resize to 60%
Rotate left 25
Add drop shadow
Position in upper left corner

Duplicate & mirror
Duplicate the right one & resize to 75%
Position on top of the bird house

Duplicate & position on your fence

Paste butterfly 1 as a new layer
Resize to 30%
Position onto the pole of your bird house
Add drop shadow

Paste crocus 1 as a new layer
Resize to 20%
Position on your fence
Add drop shadow

Duplicate
Position at the right center of your ribbons
Duplicate, mirror & merge down
Duplicate & position at the bottom of your tag
Duplicate & flip

Resize all layers to 70%

Add your text, name & © info


Animation:

Hide animation 2 & 3
Merge visible
Copy & paste into animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide animation 1 & unhide #2
Merge & paste after current in animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide animation 2 & unhide #3
Merge visible & paste after current in animation shop

View your animation

Save as gif & you're all done!

Bumble Bee Faery

Supplies Needed
Torn Paper by me here
Bees by me here

Plugins
Mura Meister Copies
Eyecandy Texture

The tube I used Bumble Bee Fairy (58-1) is by Caron Vinson, you can purchase this tube from CDO here

The name of the font I used is Jungle Juice
I used size 60


Open new transparent canvas 930x375, we will resize later
Floodfill with pale yellow

Paste your paper as a new layer

Paste your main tube as a new layer
Resize as needed
Add drop shadow

Paste your close up tube as a new layer twice
Change layer properties on the bottom one to soft light
Position to one side of your main tube
Add drop shadow
Duplicate, mirror & merge down

On your top close up layer resize as needed
Position to one side & add drop shadow
Duplicate, mirror & merge down

Use your selection tool & select around your tag
Crop

Activate your paper layer
Select all>float>defloat
On your soft light layer invert your selection
Delete
Do Not Deselect

Activate your close up layer
Delete & deselect

Paste your bees as a new layer
Duplicate & hide your top bees
Resize to 35%
Rotate left 20
Add drop shadow
Position to one side of your main tube

Duplicate & position on the other side of your tube

Unhide your bees
Resize to 30%
Add drop shadow
Apply mura meister copies
Line>number 9
Position at the top of your tag
Duplicate, move to the bottom of your tag & merge down

Duplicate 2 times
Apply eyecandy texture noise
Settings>sparkles
Repeat on other 2 layers clicking the random seed button each time

Send your main tube to the top
Position so she's resting her hands on the bees

Resize all layers to 70%

Add your text, name & © info


Animation:

Hide animation 2 & 3
Merge visible
Copy & paste into animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide animation 1 & unhide #2
Merge & paste after current in animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide animation 2 & unhide #3
Merge visible & paste after current in animation shop

View your animation

Save as gif & you're all done!

Native Western Gal

Graphics Plus Cross Shadow


The tube I used American Indian (62-2) is by Caron Vinson, you can purchase this tube from CDO here

The name of my font is Tombstone
I used size 42 & 48

Open new transparent canvas 700x700, we will resize later
Floodfill with a color from your tube
Apply dsb flux bright noise intensity 20, mix checked
Apply graphics plus cross shadow using default settings

Paste shrub as a new layer
Position on the right side
Add drop shadow

Paste frame as a new layer
Using your magic wand click inside your frame
Expand 3
Add a new raster layer
Floodfill with a pattern
Deselect
Move to below your frame layer

Paste dream catcher as a new layer
Add an inner bevel & drop shadow
Duplicate 2 times
Apply dsb bright noise intensity 50, mix checked
Repeat on other 2 layers changing intensity to 55 & 60

Paste keychain as a new layer
Resize to 60%
Add drop shadow
Move to the right side of your frame
Move to below your frame layer

Paste your tube as a new layer
Resize as needed
Add drop shadow

Paste rainbow as a new layer
Change layer properties to soft light
Move to the right a bit so it fits around your frame
Duplicate, mirror & flip
Move into position
Merge down
Duplicate 2 times

Apply dsb flux bright noise intensity 40, mix checked
Repeat on other 2 layers changing intensity to 45 & 50

Paste flower 6 as a new layer
Resize to 40%
Position on left side of frame
Add drop shadow
Duplicate & mirror

Repeat with flower 9 resizing to 25%

Repeat with flower 10 resizing to 15%

Paste flowers 1 - 5 as new layers
Resize from 20 to 35%
Arrange around your frame area
Add drop shadow to each

Merge all the flower 1 - 5 layers
Duplicate 2 times
Apply dsb flux bright noise intensity 40, mix checked
Repeat on other 2 layers changing intensity to 45 & 50

Resize all layers to 70%

Add your text, name & © info


Animation:

Hide your middle & bottom animation layers
Merge visible
Copy & paste into animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide your top animtion layers & unhide the middle ones
Merge & paste after current in animation shop

Undo your merge
Hide your middle animation layers & unhide the bottom ones
Merge visible & paste after current in animation shop

View your animation

Save as gif & you're all done!
